Updated Backstage Details on Why Hardys Were Not on Raw; Tag Team

As previously reported, the Hardys were not on Raw due to the bicep injury that Scott Dawson of the Revival suffered at a house show in Halifax. There were no creative plans for the Hardys on Raw since the Revival were not on the show either. That is why WWE did not make the Hardys appear on Raw.
According to reports, Scott Dawson of the Revival injured his biceps at a house show in Halifax when the Revival challenged Sheamus & Cesaro in a match for the tag team titles. This was a match involving two heel tag teams.
Latest reports indicate that the Hardys were originally scheduled to compete in a couple of tag team matches all weekend including Raw last Monday Night, but WWE was unable to get the paperwork sorted out in time to ensure that Jeff Hardy would be allowed to cross the border and into Canada due to his felony conviction from many years ago. As a result, the Hardys had to be pulled from all the live events in Canada.

The original match for SummerSlam was supposed to be a triple threat tag team match involving the Hardys, the Revival and Gallows & Anderson, but because of Dawson’s injury, the angle that would have set up the match was pulled completely from Raw.
Apparently with Jeff Hardy not there on Raw last Monday Night, the original script was for Matt to shoot the angle by himself but it was all scrapped and now the speculation is that it will turn into a regular tag team match with the Hardys facing Gallows & Anderson.
