Pete Dunne and Finlay Take Shots At Vince Russo

Vince Russo took a shot at a spot performed last week during NXT’s UK tag team match, claiming that the suspension of disbelief is gone in wrestling.

This led to WWE UK Champion, Pete Dunne responding to him before Finlay joined the conversation and also took a shot at Russo, starting an online argument.

Yeah—THAT would happen if the match was real. Suspension of disbelief is forever gone in professional wrestling. And that’s why all the casuals went bye-bye. Only the marks and the kids remain.

If you’re that worried about suspending disbelief you wouldn’t tweet stuff like this. #Hypocrisy

@PeteDunneYxB don’t let idiots trying to keep themselves relevant and who couldn’t even put a headlock on derail you on your journey. #fastTalkingLoudMouth. Yes you @THEVinceRusso

Alberto El Patron on Paige’s WWE Return

During a recent Impact Wrestling conference call, Alberto El Patron gave his thoughts on Paige’s return to WWE. Below are the highlights from the interview, with a h/t to for the transcription.

“It’s fantastic, it was just about time. I used to say this all the time, people forget that she had neck surgery, screws behind her neck, that’s the reason why she was out of the business and it takes time to recover from something like that.

“Then she started working really hard for her big comeback, and now she’s there. She’s doing what she has been doing since the beginning of her career in WWE. She’s killing it, she’s doing a fantastic job. I said it before and I’ll say it again, she has all the potential to be the most successful Diva of all time. We have to give her time.”
