NXT Announces That Referee Jessika Carr Is Moving To SmackDown

Following tonight’s episode of NXT, former champion Tommaso Ciampa announced to the Full Sail crowd that referee Jessika Carr had been promoted to Friday Night SmackDown, and will no longer be working events for the yellow and black brand. Ciampa would start a “Thank you Jess” chant, with company head Triple H coming out to give Carr a round of applause.

Carr would later take to Twitter and write, “Surreal. Incredible. Thankful. My family. My heart! Thank you.”
