WWE SmackDown will celebrate the 4th of July with a bang for sure, including an Independence Day Battle Royal to name the No. 1 contender for the United States Championship.
PWInsider.com is reporting that AJ Styles, currently the only confirmed match participant, will be the winner of the battle royal.
Styles is scheduled to face Kevin Owens for the United States Title at WWE Battleground on July 23rd in Philadelphia. This will be Styles’ second time challenging the New Face of America for the title, as he previously lost to Owens at WWE Backlash back in May.
