A video showing a minor girl being purportedly sexually assaulted by a youth in Mathura district has gone viral on social media. On Tuesday, the girl’s family approached police and alleged that the video was recorded by the accused from his mobile phone.

According to police, the incident took place two months ago, but it came to light recently when the girl’s brother saw the clipping.

The family filed a police complaint against the prime accused, Padam (20), his sister-in-law Sunita (25) and his friend Pratap (25).
