Indian farmers are incurring huge losses due to cow menace. After almost 100 cows were locked up in primary schools in Prayagraj followed by Aligarh and Agra, Noida is next in line.
Times of India reported that farmers of Badalpur have locked up almost 50 cows inside a government school because they were destroying all the crops. The incident took place on Sunday afternoon.
The local police had to intervene. They managed to free the cattle at around 4 pm on the same day. The farmers were inspired by a similar incident in Prayagraj. The farmers of Mahawad told the publication that they had to guard their fields like watchmen to keep away the cows from destroying their harvest.
