It feels like we’ve been waiting for Passengers for a very long time, but finally, that wait is coming to an end. There’s just a little more than a month until the film is released nationwide (Dec. 21), and while we stew in anticipation, there’s a tension-fraught clip to sate our cinematic appetites.

Entertainment Weekly’s exclusive clip opens on a bathing suit-clad Jennifer Lawrence. She’s wearing a fabulous sort of bikini/one-piece hybrid with a layer of mesh coving her torso—we’re calling it, this is going to be the swim look of summer 2017. Fashion aside, Lawrence goes for a swim is a very serene-looking pool. (SPOILER ALERT: looks can be deceiving.) All is well until a “gravity failure” sends the water levels completely out of whack, catapulting J.Law into our absolute worst nightmare, struggling to reach the surface of the water/not drown.

The clip ends on quite the cliffhanger, but rest assured, it won’t be long before we’re able to get to the bottom of it. Until then, we’ll be waiting on the very edge of our seats (hopefully nowhere near water!).
