Indian Air Force Inches Closer To Recovering Wreckage Of Missing AN-32, First Rescuers Reach Crash Site

The first batch of the search and rescue team airdropped by the Indian Air Force to look for survivors from the missing aircraft AN-32 has reached the crash site.

The IAF had airdropped 8 to 10 personnel near the site of the crash in Arunachal Pradesh in two helicopter sorties.

The teams have started moving towards the location site and were searching for more wreckage and possible survivors.

This is in addition to the 15 mountaineers have been inducted by Mi-17s and ALH with equipment. Out of the 15, nine are from IAF mountaineering team, four from Army and two are civilian mountaineers.
