WrestleMania 34’s attendance was announced to the public as 78,133, but the actual attendance that WrestleMania 34 had was said to be between 60,000 – 65,000. It is being said that they had to announce such an attendance so that they would be able to beat the 75,167 announced fans at the 2014 event in the same stadium. There was said to be a significant amount of late purchases due to the late announcement of Daniel Bryan’s in-ring return, despite that the event was said to be a legitimate sell-out.
There has been some speculation that Bam Bam Bigelow will be going into next year’s WWE Hall of Fame when WrestleMania comes to New Jersey, which is Bigelow’s home state. Bigelow was originally slated to be one of this year’s inductees but when that didn’t happen, Mark Henry was added instead.
John Cena is said to be the greatest superstar in WWE history and he is by far WWE’s top merchandise seller for the past few years now. Next to him is said to be WWE Champion AJ Styles and Roman Reigns. The New Day are also said to be strong sellers and talent like Finn Balor, Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman also do very well.
