SALVADOR, Brazil – Sam Stoll (Kasson, Minn./Minnesota Storm/Hawkeye WC) placed fifth at 120 kg/264.5 lbs. on the final day of Greco-Roman the UWW Junior World Championships on Wednesday.

Stoll was defeated by 2014 UWW Junior World bronze medalist Osman Yilidirim of Turkey in his bronze-medal bout 5-1.

Yildirim led 1-0 at the break, after scoring a pushout. In the second period, Yildirim scored four more pushouts to lead 5-0. A late pushout by Stoll made it 5-1 when it ended. Continue reading at www.teamusa.org
