It was recently announced that WWE will be returning to Tokyo, Japan for a two night RAW Live Event on Friday, June 28th & Saturday, June 29th at The Sumo Hall. SmackDown Women’s Champion Asuka is scheduled to appear on the show. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale on Saturday, April 13th. Other Superstars advertised to appear on the show are WWE Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor, Braun Strowman, Seth Rollins, Alexa Bliss, Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, Elias, Nia Jax, Natalya, Chad Gable, Bobby Roode & WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks & Bayley.
Speaking of Sasha Banks & Bayley, The First-Ever WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions would make a special appearance at this past Thursday’s NXT Live Event from Largo, FL. They would cut an in-ring promo during an intermission and then watch from ringside as Kairi Sane & Io Shirai took on Vanessa Borne & Aliyah and Rhea Ripley & Reina Gonzalez in an NXT Women’s Division Triple Threat Match. That match would end in a No Contest when the heels would attack Sane & Shirai. Banks & Bayley would then make the save for the babyfaces, then pose with them to end the segment.
There have been rumors lately that Banks & Bayley will be defending their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles in a Multi-Team Match at WrestleMania 35, possibly against one RAW Team, one SmackDown LIVE Team & one NXT Team. The WWE NXT Universe would want to see Io Shirai & Kairi Sane be that NXT Team at WrestleMania 35 as they chanted “WrestleMania!” while Banks & Bayley posed with them.
