Race day parking will be at the Lawrence School, 113 Lakeview Ave., the Mullen Hall School, 130 Katharine Lee
Bates Rd., and the municipal lots between Katharine Lee Bates Road and Main Street. All those parking areas are
within a quarter mile walk of Town Hall Square. In order to assure access by residents and visitors to Main Street
businesses that are open before and during the race, THERE WILL BE NO RACE DAY PARKING FOR RUNNERS

*Post-Race Celebration: Sunday, May 1, at Liam MaguireÛªs Irish Pub, 273 Main Street, Falmouth from 10:00 am to
noon and beyond for runners. Bar opens to public at noon. A sumptuous buffet, entertainment and discounted
Offshore Amber Ale ($2/Pint) on draft will be available for runners and their guests, volunteers and VIPÛªs.
Runners and accompanied guests 21 and over will be given a beer bracelet at the door to get Offshore Ale and
food. Runners and guests must show their bib number and id to get a bracelet. Volunteers and VIPÛªs will receive
*Post-Post Race Celebration — Weather permitting — at Courtney Bird’s, 43 Sippewissett Rd. Will begin more or
less in the early afternoon after our welcome wears out at Liam’s or the beer runs out or both. Menu: Barbecued
Ribs, Chicken, Potato Salad, Coleslaw, Fresh Quissett Oysters and Littleneck Clams on the half shell, and
Offshore Ale. Because this activity is outdoors and thus weather dependent (too cold, too rainy, snow, etc.), the
THINGS TO DO IN FALMOUTH: Plan on making a weekend of it. There are many fine restaurants and shops
on Main Street. These restaurants are supporting the race and a meal at any or all of them is well worth it — Liam
Maguire’s Irish Pub, 273 Main St.; the Pickle Jar Kitchen, 170 Main St.; Anejo Mexican Bistro, 188 Main St.; Simply
Divine Pizza Company, 271 Main St., and a short distance away at 97 Spring Bars Road – the The Quahog
Republic. Additionally there are many events that take place in the spring in Falmouth Center and Woods Hole.
