Arsenal “will take action imminently” in their pursuit of N’Golo Kanté

Arsenal “will take action immediately” in their pursuit of N’Golo Kanté, according to today’s edition for L’Équipe.

Kanté has a €25m release clause, but Arsenal are ready to offer up to €40m in order to seal a deal for the French international.

Leicester City have come back for Kanté hard in recent days, offering the player a new deal with an incredible wage rise.

Manchester City and Chelsea are monitoring the situation.

Kanté’s prefers a move to Arsenal. The Gunners hold the cards, but they must start to act now in order to ensure that they do not miss out.

Kanté is happy to wait until at least after EURO 2016 to make a final decision.
