RMC report that Manchester United have concluded a €10m arrangement with AS Monaco for 16-year-old midfielder Hannibal Mejbri.

The player’s agent Rochild Dzabana and his lawyer Nadia Zrari, are expected to arrive in Manchester in the coming hours to finalise the finer details revolving around the deal.

L’Équipe indicate that Arsenal and Bayern Munich had both made contact for the player recently, but the Red Devils are winning this race. The young player is expected to travel to Manchester tomorrow to undergo a medical with the Premier League side.

Under a youth contract with ASM until 2021, his family had an embittered relationship with the Monaco board and tried to actively force a move away by taking legal action against the Principality side with the end goal being to terminate his contract.

In the end, all parties settled on a transfer, but a lot of bad blood has been spilled throughout this saga. A source close to Monaco contacted by Get French Football News said bitterly: “(Enzo) Millot is better anyway,” referring to another ASM teenage midfield prospect who just yesterday signed professional terms with the Principality outfit.
