L’Équipe report that Rennes have turned down an approach from Spartak Moscow for their 18-year-old right-back Brandon Soppy.
The teenager has received starting minutes for the Brittany side in recent weeks owing to the absences of Sacha Boey and Hamari Traoré, impressing considerably when the opportunities have presented themselves.
Last week, Spartak called Rennes to enquire about the asking price for the teenager, to which SRFC did not respond with a figure, merely indicating that he was not for sale.
Spartak have also approached Toulouse for 22-year-old midfielder Ibrahim Sangaré.
