As reported by L’Équipe, a Portuguese referee will officiate the Ligue 1 match between Lens and Reins this Sunday.

As part of an agreement between the LFP and Portuguese league authorities, Victor Ferreira – who took charge of France’s win over Ivory Coast in a March friendly – will take charge in Reims this weekend as part of a referee exchange programme between the two leagues.

This is the second match to be included in the programme after Luis Godinho took charge in the match between Lens and Bordeaux earlier this season.
