As reported by L’Équipe, PSG striker Mauro Icardi has stated he is planning to stay at the club this summer via his Instagram account in response to a critical story in the Italian press. Icardi wrote:
“I’m still under contract with PSG for the next two seasons. My career is not in danger, contrary to what you journalists suggest. It is I who will decide to stay and make myself available to the club… Don’t worry, I’m only 29 and people remember very well what I can do after almost 200 goals.”
It was reported earlier this season that Icardi (29) will be sold this summer if PSG receive a “reasonable” offer. Juventus were in talks for the player back in January after 38 goals and 10 assists in 92 PSG games for the Argentine striker.
