Sunday: Bordeaux vs Toulouse (13:00 GMT)
Bordeaux will hope to build on their impressive 2-2 draw at Paris Saint-Germain as they welcome Toulouse to the Stade Jacques Chaban-Delmas. Willy Sagnol’s side are unbeaten in their last four games, although the 2-0 victory against Nantes on home soil is the only win recorded during this run. Bordeaux’s other home fixture resulted in a surprise 2-1 defeat at the hands of highly-flying Reims on the opening day of the season, but they will come up against a team that have struggled on their travels.
Toulouse have lost both of their away fixtures this season, going down 1-0 and 3-1 at the hands of Caen and Rennes respectively. Dominique Arribage’s team have found the back of the net in all but one of their first five games, but they will have to find a way of keeping it tight in defence if they are to end a run of four games without a win since the 2-1 opening day win against Saint-Etienne.
Sunday: Monaco vs Lorient (16:00 GMT)
Monaco will be looking for their first home win of the season as they take on Lorient at the Stade Louis II on Sunday evening. Leonardo Jardim’s team have struggled to impose themselves on home soil, as proved by their emphatic 3-0 defeat at the hands of defending champions Paris Saint-Germain. Both of their victories this season have come from away trips to Nice and last weekend’s 1-0 win at newly-promoted Gazelec Ajaccio, but Monaco will hope to make home advantage count against a defence that has only kept one clean sheet.
Lorient finally secured their first win of the season last weekend at the Stade Yves Allainmat, beating Angers 3-1 to lift some of the pressure off Sylvain Ripoli. However, Lorient have endured mixed fortunes away from home, with a respectable 0-0 draw at last season’s runners-up Olympique Lyonnais followed by a resounding 4-1 defeat at Reims. Lorient may fancy their chances of picking up a result against a team who have yet to find the back of the net at home this season.
Sunday: Saint-Etienne vs Nantes (16:00 GMT)
Saint-Etienne welcome Nantes to the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard hoping to extend their impressive run of form to four straight victories. Christoph Gaultier’s side made an indifferent start to the season with only one point from their first two games, but subsequent wins against Lorient, Bastia and Montpellier have put Saint-Etienne firmly back on track. They have found the back of the net in all of their five fixtures so far, and Gaultier’s men may be among the betting tips on footballscores.com as they will come up against an opponent that have failed to score away from home.
Nantes have slightly faltered after making an impressive start to the season, with consecutive defeats putting end to a run that included back-to-back 1-0 victories at the Stade de la Beaujoure against Guingamp and Reims. A 0-0 draw at Angers was sandwiched between these results, and as their other away fixture ended in a 2-0 defeat at Bordeaux, Michel Der Zakarian will hope that his team finally break their barren spell and keep eleven men on the pitch this time after Adryan and Kolbeinn Sigthorsson received straight red cards in their most recent 2-0 defeat against Rennes.

Sunday: Olympique Marseille vs Olympique Lyonnais (20:00 GMT)
Olympique Marseille will come face-to-face with Olympique Lyonnais in the Choc des Olympiques at the Stade Velodrome in a fixture that many will want to keep an eye on via footballscores.com. Michel appears to have steadied the ship following the shock departure of Marcelo Bielsa, with a resounding 6-0 thumping of Troyes and last weekend’s 4-1 victory against Bastia providing the sort of form and confidence that could be pivotal against an opponent who has been dealt a major blow.
Last season’s runners-up Olympique Lyonnais have found consistency difficult to come back in their opening five fixtures, although they may fancy their chances based on their 1-0 and 4-0 victories at Guingamp and Caen respectively. In contrast, recording just two points from a possible nine at the Stade de Gerland is not the sort of form that Hubert Fournier would expect from his team, but their chances of making it three away victories in a row has been thrown into doubt following Nabil Fekir’s cruciate knee ligament injury whilst on international duty with France which may rule the star midfielder out for the rest of the season.
