According to Foot 365, Premier League side Watford are in advanced negotiations for the signing of Rennes midfielder Abdoulaye Doucouré.

The report claims that the newly promoted Premier League side are close to reaching a total agreement for the transfer of the player and have lodged a €7m bid for the player.

It is believed that while Rennes want closer to €10m for Doucouré, the deal is going in the right direction.

We shall soon see how reliable this report is.
