According to today’s paper edition of L’Équipe, Ligue 1 side Marseille are still hoping to terminate Real Madrid midfielder Lucas Silva’s loan with the club in the coming days.

Michel had initially been hoping that OM would sign another defensive midfielder, having given up on Lucas Silva and with Lassana Diarra likely to leave the club at the end of the season.

So far Marseille have failed to do so, but the French sports daily suggests that they might terminate Lucas Silva’s loan anyway.
