Speaking to our colleagues at Foot Mercato, Valencia defender Aymen Abdennour spoke about links he had to Chelsea and Everton back in the summer transfer window.

“I am currently playing in Spain… I have never played in Italy or in England. Those are leagues that interest me. I follow the English league. Everton and Chelsea are two very good clubs. Last year, I heard that they had contacts with Valencia. I did not worry about it. In the end, my club decided to keep me so I stayed. I am training my hardest and I am a professional.”
