PSG have made initial contact over the possible transfer of French international and Chelsea central midfielder N’Golo Kanté, according to RMC.
Sporting Director Antero Henrique is already in touch with the player’s representatives. There are multiple problems with this target – Chelsea would only sell for €100m, and Kanté doesn’t want to return to France and he wants to stay with the London side, with or without Champions’ League football next season.
The outlet also notes intriguingly that PSG are pushing their players to give interviews with European media to talk up the club’s ambitions, in a bid to convince certain players to join the capital side.
It explains Kylian Mbappé’s discussion of N’Golo Kanté and Marco Verratti’s comments on Paul Pogba in recent interviews.
