As reported by L’Équipe last night, 24-year-old Argentine winger Lucas Ocampos will sign for Sevilla for €15m including bonuses from Marseille.

Ocampos, who also received a proposal from Premier League side Burnley, has been the only player attracting significant interest at Marseille in the early part of this transfer window.

With OM obligated to make sales in order to satisfy their accord with UEFA relating to FFP, they had little choice but to allow one of the club’s best performers last season to move – he will sign a 5-year contract with the Spanish side.
