Newly promoted to Ligue 1 side RC Lens yesterday announced the loan signing of 22-year-old Venezuelan international goalkeeper Wuilker Farinez from Colombian outfit Millonarios.

There is an option to buy included in the deal, and Farinez will settle into the 1st team initially as the club’s back-up shotstopper behind Jean-Louis Leca.

RCL have described the player as “very dynamic, with lots of energy… who is very connected to the game.”
