Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday as he was formally unveiled as an AS Monaco player, Senegalese winger Krépin Diatta explained his friendship with Liverpool attacker Sadio Mané.

“He is a big brother. We are very close. I speak to him daily, he inspires me a lot. He is someone who I look to as an example. But I would also like to write my own story. He is an example for all young Senegalese players. Sadio is really the perfect role model for us.”
