Nice Matin are reporting that OGC Nice sporting director Julien Fournier is set to leave the club for the second time. Unhappy with his working relationship with Christophe Galtier, he isn’t fighting to keep his role. 

Fournier has not yet said anything to his scout team, but is  nonetheless “closer than ever to leaving the club.” INEOS are set to reveal the new organisational structure of the club in the coming days. 

According to Nice Matin, Fournier “no longer wishes to collaborate” with Galtier, with whom he has had disagreements regarding transfer policy. With Galtier publically committed to remaining at Le Gym, it is therefore Fournier that looks set to make way.
