WWE Smackdown Results

Report by Mike Killam for ProWrestling.com
– Tom Phillips welcomes us to Smackdown Live alongside Corey Graves and Byron Saxton, as General Manager Daniel Bryan makes his way down to the ring to a tremendous reaction from the fans.
IN-RING SEGMENT
Daniel Bryan wastes very little time in introducing us to his tag team partner at WrestleMania… Shane McMahon! The audience goes crazy and welcomes back Shane O’Mac, who – if we’ve been following this story correctly – is no longer the Commissioner of Smackdown Live. Shane congratulates Bryan on being medically cleared to return to the ring, calling him a role model for those struggling to never give up on their dreams. He says he couldn’t think of a better partner than Bryan, and knows that despite all the health issues he’s had in the past few weeks, they’ll have each other’s back this Sunday.
Daniel apologized for his actions over the last few months and said that Shane was right all along; he never should have put his faith and trust in Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, he just got caught up in living vicariously through two lifelong friends. Shane also apologizes for the way he’s acted, and offers a handshake to the GM. Bryan rejects the handshake and opens his arms as the crowd chants “HUG IT OUT!” after which McMahon says he actually kind of enjoyed it. The crowd chanted “YES” and Bryan closed us out, claiming that the two of them were heading to WrestleMania to beat the hell out of Owens and Zayn, and after this Sunday we would never see them in a Smackdown ring again.
Nashville didn’t want to see @WWEDanielBryan & @shanemcmahon resolve their issues with a handshake…#HugItOut #SDLive #WrestleMania pic.twitter.com/IhxGw2THN4
