John Cena Not Hosting Nickelodeon Show

Last week, WWE.com ran a story speculating that John Cena’s appearance at the Nickelodeon upfronts was a potential audition for the upcoming “Blue’s Clues” reboot, but according to a new report by Adweek, that does not appear to be the case.

Cena attended last week’s upfronts wearing a “Blue’s Clues” shirt, which prompted speculation that he might be auditioning for the show, and even lead to original show host Steve Burns “challenging” Cena to a match for the role. The video of Cena at the upfronts went viral, but Adweek reports the entire “Blue’s Clues” tease was just a joke.
