Is Shane McMahon Really a WWE Exec?

As noted, Stephanie McMahon recently spoke with Bloomberg on a number of topics, and during the interview McMahon clarified her brother Shane McMahon’s role in WWE, noting that despite him being the Commissioner of Smackdown, he is strictly a talent in WWE, and does not actually have an executive role.

“[Shane] is really a strong talent for us right now,” says Stephanie—though he isn’t, she points out, an actual executive at the company.
