DEONNA PURRAZZO vs. PRISCILLA KELLY
Kelly refused to shake hands before the bell, and instead slapped her opponent across the face. The two locked up and traded hold for hold, with Kelly getting the first advantage with a leg scissors on the mat. Purrazzo did a head stand to break the hold, into another stellar grappling exchange, and nearly stole the win with a roll-up out of nowhere, stunning her opponent.
PK took a breather in the ropes to collect herself, but was really just bidding her time to take a cheap shot, nailing Deonna with a kick to the side of the head. She followed up with a sliding lariat for a two-count, and immediately locked in a nasty Dragon Sleeper, wrenching away at the neck with some serious torque. Deonna eventually broke the hold with some stiff elbow shots, and started throwing chops that damn near knocked her opponent over. A handspring dropkick found its mark straight to the heart, but it still wasn’t enough to get the three.
Kelly surprised her with a bulldog from behind, and the two yet again went into a grappling exchange. This was a very technical match, back and forth the entire time. Purrazzo hit a classic Russian legsweep and floated effortlessly into a Fujiwara Armbar, wrenching away on the hold until PK was forced to tap out.
Winner: Deonna Purrazzo
