Chris Sabin Provides Major Update Following Recent Injury — It’s Not Good News

We have an update on former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Chris Sabin, who sustained an injury at Ring of Honor’s latest set of television tapings in Atlanta earlier this month. The news is not great.

It would appear that Sabin suffered a complete ACL tear during the match, which is the third of his career. Unfortunately, that means he’s going to be out of action for the next 8-12 months likely including surgery and the necessary rehabilitation.

The 36-year-old Michigan superstar injured his ACL twice in a span of just two years while working for Impact Wrestling. The first tear came in 2011and put him on the bench for 10 months. Shortly after returning the following year, Sabin tore the same ACL and was taken out for yet another 11 months.

Complete ACL tear. 8 – 12 months.
