With only one more episode of Monday Night Raw left before the annual Royal Rumble pay-per-view, WWE is pulling out all the stops – and that now includes a ladder match for the WWE United States Championship.

Tensions are high between Andrade and Rey Mysterio, after “El Idolo” removed the lucha legend’s iconic mask in the ultimate sign of disrespect. This lead to Mysterio delivering a much-deserved beatdown in a backstage segment, putting the hurt on the champ and taking his mask back.

Andrade’s manager and representative Zelina Vega continued the disrespect on Raw this week, claiming Mysterio is a disgraced former legend and a bad example of a father.

Also announced for next week’s show is a mixed tag team match pitting Bobby Lashley and Lana against Rusev and Liv Morgan, as well as another live appearance from the reigning, defending WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar.
