Low Ki In FCW, Mickey Rourke In Ironman 2, Edge Tops Billboard DVD Charts

— We reported earlier this week that “The Wrestler” star Mickey Rourke had signed on for Sylvester Stallone’s new movie “The Expendables.” It appears Rourke has an even bigger role on his plate, as HollywoodReporter.com reports that Rourke is in talks to co-star in the upcoming Ironman sequel. Rourke would play a tattooed Russian heavy named Ivan who becomes “Whiplash”, a villain with deadly, technologically enhanced coils. The project begins shooting in New York this spring and is currently slated for a May 7, 2010 release.

— Former TNA and Ring of Honor star Low Ki wrestled at last night’s Florida Championship Wrestling TV taping in Tampa, Florida, pinning Trent Baretta with his “Warrior’s Way” finisher. Low Ki has been rumored to be WWE bound for several months and he dropped the New Japan Pro Wrestling IWGP Junior Heavyweight title last weeekend.
