Update On Randy Orton's Condition After SummerSlam

Shortly after midnight, WWE issued an update on Randy Orton’s condition after SummerSlam.

According to WWE’s report, Orton needed ten stitches as a result of Brock Lesnar’s elbow to the head that busted him open. There’s no word on if Orton will be at SmackDown this week or not.

WWE.com has learned that Randy Orton has received 10 staples to close a laceration on his forehead following the brutal assault by Brock Lesnar that resulted in a TKO at SummerSlam.

Lesnar was declared the winner via TKO at SummerSlam on Sunday after hitting Orton with an elbow that legitimately cut open his forehead.
