ROH Announces Title Matches For War Of The Worlds Tour With NJPW In May


Ring Of Honor (ROH) announced a pair of championship matches for their upcoming War of the Worlds tour with New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) in May.

On Monday, it was announced that Matt Taven vs. PCO for the ROH World Championship will be taking place at the May 9th event in Toronto, Ontario, Canada as part of the aforementioned tour in conjunction with NJPW.

Additionally, ROH has confirmed that Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa vs. Jay Lethal & Jonathan Gresham in a match for the ROH World Tag-Team Championships will also be taking place as part of the tour. That title match will go down at the May 8th event in Buffalo, New York, which is the first show on the tour.

The announcement was made by ROH play-by-play announcer Ian Riccaboni in a video that he released via the official ROH Twitter page. Check out the video below.
