Samoa Joe-Seth Rollins Fight Continues After Raw Went Off Air

The Samoa Joe and Seth Rollins feud continued after the television broadcast of Raw signed off Monday from the sold out Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York.
In the telecast’s final moments, Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose landed a Dirty Deeds DDT on United States Champion Kevin Owens to win the showcase match of the night. As Ambrose celebrated the win, Chris Jericho raced down the ramp and hit a Code Breaker on Owens. That’s when television signed off.
But the action didn’t stop there. After the broadcast signed off on USA, Samoa Joe ambushed Jericho in the ring. This led to The Architect getting involved as Seth Rollins raced to the ring to save Jericho. This led to a tag team match with Jericho and Rollins against Joe and Owens. Rollins pinned Joe after hitting him with a jumping knee.

Earlier on Raw, Joe attacked Rollins after Raw General Manager Kurt Angle came to the ring to tell Rollins that he would be staying on Monday Night Raw, even though Stephanie McMahon wanted him gone. Though Joe landed some solid punches, Rollins eventually ended that attack by superkicking Joe out of the ring.
