An unlikely duo won the Tag Team titles on last night’s episode of Raw.
Seth Rollins & Braun Strowman became Raw Tag Team Champions by defeating Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson in the main event of last night’s show. Though Rollins & Strowman continue to be a cohesive team, Strowman had his eyes on Rollins’ Universal Championship as they celebrated their win.
The tag match was set up after Strowman challenged for AJ Styles’ United States Championship earlier in the night. Rollins made the save for Strowman after Gallows & Anderson caused a disqualification.
One week after Sasha Banks returned, she did an interview with Michael Cole and didn’t offer much insight for her actions. There was another angle where Banks attacked Natalya. She told Natalya to go to hell and tell Jim Neidhart that Banks said hi.
Becky Lynch also cut a promo responding to Banks earlier in the show.
The King of the Ring tournament began last night. Samoa Joe defeated Cesaro to advance to the quarterfinals, while Cedric Alexander defeated Sami Zayn.
