New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) recently held the seventh night of their New Japan Cup Event which is a single elimination tournament that lasts for 12 days and the winner of the said tournament will get an opportunity to face IWGP Heavyweight Champion “Switchblade” Jay White for The IWGP Heavyweight Title at The G1 Supercard Event in New York City’s Madison Square Garden on April 6th. The recent show which featured the second round of the tournament emanated from The Legendary Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan and it was headlined by Zack Sabre Jr. taking on “The Golden Star” Kota Ibushi in a New Japan Cup Second Round Match as the main event.
