One of the sadder news items within the WWE world this week was Mustafa Ali having to miss the Elimination Chamber WWE Championship match in the pay-per-view tonight (Sunday) from Toyota Center in Houston, and he cut a fantastic promo in reaction to it.
The fast-rising SmackDown Live Superstar is reportedly dealing with concussion-related injuries that forced him out of the biggest match of his career so far. In response to that, Ali, who has drawn raves for his promo work and character development, cut a promo that is both respectful to the work Kofi Kingston did in the gauntlet match on SmackDown as his replacement and explores the passion with which Ali is chasing his dream to become a main-event player for years to come.
