ANNAPOLIS, MD — A TV station reports that the police chief at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis is under investigation after he was accused of sexual harassment. Lance Royal remains in his position as the investigation proceeds.

We can confirm that the Naval Support Activity Annapolis Chief of Police Lance Royce is under investigation and he is still on duty status. The academy has not yet commented on the allegations
