In case it was keeping you up at night, Pippa Middleton without a doubt loves her florals.

Two weeks ago, the newlywed and her husband James Matthews headed to Stockholm, Sweden for a friend’s wedding where she turned to none other than the brand that knows florals, Erdem. It was moody. It said, “I just got married!” It was so Pippa Middleton.

Now, Kate’s 33-year-old younger sister put her love for gardenias on full display Tuesday as she made her first appearance in London since jetting off to say “I do!” and later visiting Australia for her honeymoon. Middleton wasn’t trying to impress the Fashion Police with anything too over-the-top and statement making. Instead, she kept it feminine and casual in a V-neck, ribbon-tie floral Sandro dress ($297; us.sandro-paris.com), which she styled with a black sweater (how British!) and, because she’s into the ribbon-tie thing, matching espadrilles.

Apparently, Middleton was on business, carrying a stack of papers and an oversize geometric handbag. Her dark sunglasses were classic as well. It’s been about one month since Middleton and Matthews exchanged vows in Englefield, where she impressed the world in a white lace Giles Deacon gown with Manolo Blahnik shoes and a Stephen Jones veil.
