Andhra Govt Plans To Put 10 Lakh Electric Vehicles On Road By 2024 To Curb Air Pollution

The Andhra Pradesh thegovernment has announced its extensive electric vehicle policy to curb pollution and it has announced to put 10 lakh electric vehicles on the road in next 5 years and by 2024, it will stop registration of the diesel and petrol cars.

SPeaking at the Energy Innovation Summit 2019, Andhra chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu said the step of not registering the ICE car in the state will be implemented in Amravati, the state capital which is under construction.
