During the show, Kunis accepted the Comedy Movie Award for her flick, The Spy Who Dumped Me

In her acceptance speech, the 35-year-old thanked her fans for voting, but also called on them to take a stand for something bigger than Hollywood. “We are in a little bit of a state of emergency,” she said, referring to the wildfires that have been sweeping California over the past week. She then called on fans to “take a minute to donate to the LAFD.”

She’s not the only one that had the thousands of California residents on her brain. Earlier in the evening, E! host Giuliana Rancic asked fans to donate to the Red Cross by texting “REDCROSS” to 90999, or visit Redcross.org.
