Following their sale of Bruno Guimarães, Lyon are looking for a replacement midfielder before the end of the transfer window. Having looked at Romain Faivre, Téji Savanier, Giovani Lo Celso and Ellyes Skhiri, Florent Mollet (30) is the latest to pique the interest of Bruno Cheyrou, according to Le Progrès.
The Montpellier midfielder has started 18 of the 22 league fixtures this season, contributing 5 goals and 2 assists from the right flank.
While Savanier might be the more attractive, Mollet would certainly a cheaper option than his teammate.
Having joined Montpellier in the summer of 2018 from Metz, the midfielder’s contract is set to run out in June of next year.
